Something we need to see... (Conference Merger)

I look and see the Riddled Shell that is the former PAC12 of just Oregon State and Washington State... and its truly sad.

I feel like the PAC12 and Moutain West Conferences need to merge ASAP. And here is why...

#1. This gives that Conference a Spot in the College Football Playoff.

#2. There WAS a PAC12 Channel on cable. Bring those other schools in and Bring back the PAC12 channel to give them a whole Market return.

#3. This would hands down be the most Geographically correct conference in the United States. These teams would stay pretty much in the Mountain And Pacific Time Zones.

The conference merger would make the NEW PAC12 look like this. 14 teams.

Oregon State
Washington State
Air Force
Boise State
Fresno State
Hawaii
Colorado State
Nevada
UNLV
New Mexico
San Diego State
San Jose State
Utah State
Wyoming

IMO this could be one of the strongest "GROUP OF" conferences. And would have a decent shot of getting 1 team annually into the College Football playoff.

Makes perfect sense in competition and geography. Yet TV money drives conference realignment over doing the obvious .

With pay for play, NIL, and free agency , the better question might be how many D1 FBS schools want out of the money chase? Move down to FCS or form their own division?
