WVU has beaten Notre Dame, Rutger's, UCONN and now today, Louisville (3 of the 4 are top 20 teams) in the last week and a half getting ready for the Big East tourney and a run in the NCAA's. They don't have as much talent as last year (Ebanks shouldn't have left early) but I think they can win a couple games in the big dance again. Thoughts ?

Big game for KJ today. Mitchell hits the two big threes in the last minute. Was good to see Truck hit the FT's for the win after his 0-4 in the final minute at Louisville earlier in the year.

Good game to watch. WVU owned Louisville on the boards.

Last year, WVU was the only team of the 4 that got a double bye to win a game and they won the Big East tourney and made the NCAA Final Four.

This team is no where near as talented but they have improved greatly the second half of the season. A first round bye next week at NY is huge. WVU is locked into the NCAA tourney. A win or two improves their seeding. Not going to make the Final Four again but another successful Big East tourney run will help the recuriting.

WVU gets the #6 seed and plays Wednesday @ 9 pm on ESPN2 vs the winner of the Marquette/Providence game. The winner of the WVU game plays Louisville on Thursday @ 9 pm on ESPN.

This year 4ever, I'd be happy :12223 with 2 wins and I know if they could get their offense going (they play great defense), they could win 3 or 4 but the offense had been so inconsistent this year that something would have to change in a hurry for the 3 or 4 wins to happen IMO.

i dont think they have a sweet sixteen caliber team but it is the tournament.

Playing for the Big East tourney championship and at least 2 wins in the NCAA tourney.

That would be a nice run to finish off the season with and would be a huge help in recruiting.

Of course, we will take more if we can get it.

Well, when you make 2 fg in the last 10 minutes you should lose. They might win a couple games in the tourney but you can't play defense alone and expect to win. They had a 10 point lead in the second half and imploded. Let's G0000000 Mountaineers !!!!!
