Doing this early because I will be very Busy tomorrow. But Wow! What great week of Football AGAIN! A LOT to go over...

1. Ohio State was their own worst enemy against Oregon.

Self inflicted penalties and HORRIBLE Clock management cost the Buckeyes the W. But with the new Playoff format... Ohio State is easily still in discussion and hands down the best 1 loss team in the country.

2. Speaking of 1. Texas is Hands down the BEST team in the country. Top to Bottom.

The Longhorns demolished the Sooners today in the Red RiverRivalry.

3. SEC outside of Texas didn't look that great today...

Georgia Tennessee and Alabama had way too close to call games against teams they should have destroyed.

4. Clemson showing some signs of Life... are they on their footing now?

They have started looking like a more complete team over the weeks. We gotta start putting them back into the discussion of Possible Playoff Spots.

5. My Teams to keep an eye on..

BYU! Destroyed Arizona.
PITT handed California an L.
ARMY Undefeated and out of the Blue!
IOWA STATE defeated WVU... they've flown under the radar.
And of course INDIANA.

There is Texas, then everybody else in 2024.

As to Ohio State, all the talent and experience in the world guarantees you nothing without intensity and focus, and that is on Ryan Day. The Bucks are still in it but a possible season ending injury to OL Josh Simmons may make it hard not to avoid another loss or two the rest of the way.

The other thing that comes to mind is Penn State. Are they for real?

USC is good but not great, IMO. Still an impressive win going out there and coming back from a second half deficit. Aller looks improved and more seasoned this year. 44 is a beast! I like how Franklin stopped that guy from planting the flag. I think it will be tall order getting a win over there this year. This could be the year the Kittens finally break through and beat one of the big guys.

The next 2 weekends are make or break time for tOSU. Especially at PSU.
To be fair, they probably have the toughest conference schedule in the league.
I'm still not sure why they didn't just run the ball a few times once they got down in fg range at the end of the game. Maybe break a run, pickup 5-10 yards and work the clock out and kick the fg for the win.
The offensive PI call on Smith was pretty ticky tack. Could have easily been a no call. But IMO they should have ran Judkins a few times won the game
