I'M HEARING SOME RUMBLINGS OF THIS. AND WOULD WE WANT URBAN. TRESS MESSED UP BIG TIME , MAN. BUT I DIG HIS STYLE. WHATS YOUR OPINIONS.

When I first heard Urban was going to step down and take some time off I said from the get go he would be our next head coach with Tressel taking like a AD spot or something like 5 years down the road but not this soon.

Teaser answer: Yes!
But Tress isn't going anywhere in the near future. He was only planning to coach for another 5-8 years after this one, and word has been for a long time that Meyer would be the first person asked to take the job when he leaves.
But, JT isn't leaving. At least not in direct relation to the sanctions.

The only way Tressel leaves is if he is convicted of a felony or the NCAA gives the Buckeyes the death penalty. He is as securely entrenched as Woody was in his later years before "The Punch". How many people have written Paterno's professional obituary? No, they're not going anywhere until they want to.
