The Lions (2-3) pulled off a nice mid-major upset last night with their 14-point win over Belmont (4-2). The Lions connected on 44.3% of their shots compared to 36.5% for the Bruins. Will Johnston (Sydney, NSW) led all scorers with 22 points. He also had 3 steals and 4 boards. Jevon Porter (Columbia, MO) had a double, double with 16 points and 12 boards. He also dished out 4 assists. Jonathan Pierre (Hallandale, FL) came off the bench to score 17 and had 4 boards and 4 assists for the Bruins.
