The Ryan Day redemption tour moves on. The embarrassment to the TSUN has motivated him and his staff to finally coach to win. Had the talent all along, they have finally decided to use it.

Oregon is overrated, and has been all year, IMO. Congrats to the Bucks!

Oregon not overrated. OSU is playing now to curb stomp the opposition. Big difference!

The first 27 minutes of the game was the most dominant display of college football I can remember seeing. Can they keep it up against Texas then against Georgia or Notre Dame?

I was thinking the same thing, zahn! Before Oregon scored that first TD it was the most complete game I ever remember a Buckeye team playing, considering who they were playing. Defense really wanted to prove a point after that embarrassment in Eugene and boy did they ever? I hope they don't get too fat and happy now like they did against ttun. This Longhorn team will be the toughest team yet, imo. I expect a much closer game and they better be ready.
Day is safe for another year after these two blowouts against good competition. If he wins a Natty probably more. I know most would probably disagree but I would take loss to ttun any day for a NC.

OSU played lights out, but Oregon WAS/IS overrated, IMO. Nothing against OSU though. Don't get ahead of yourself with my opinion.

Given that your team was the National Champs last year, and three of four current semi finalists are from the Big 10 or Midwest , that speaks well for college football in flyover country.

I think we really do not yet fully appreciate what NIL, player revenue sharing, and the transfer portal means for CFB. That and the retirement of Nick Saban .

CFB was great in 2024. Indiana, Arizona St, SMU, and other have nots rising up. Notre Dane and Penn State having great years. The old usual suspects in the SEC being beatable. Even "Blue" had their moments.

Ohio State versus Penn State or Notre Dame for the Natty would be great. Buvkeyes though have to get past Texas first . It will be interesting if OSU can keep their intensity up for three games in a row.

trench, we got em back didn't we brother. i'm not sure about being over rated. but we should have won both of the games. but the gauntlet that ohio state went through in the playoffs. it proved to me that ryan day's days as a conservative are likely behind him. but we have a lot of changes coming. we'll lose both coordinators, as jim knowles has signed with penn state. and chip kelley he gone as well.

zahn's the big ten ruled this year. besides our regular schedule we beat the 2 best sec teams, an oregon team that was nearly the entire season as the number 1 team in the country. we beat 2 goliath big ten programs, oregon and penn state. and we beat an independant notre dame in the national championship game. what a freakin gauntlet.
