The Bobcats improve to 2-6 with Butler falling to 3-5. Ben Slanker (Canfield) blasted his first homer of the season for the Bobcats and knocked in a run. Caleb Karll (Fitchburg, Wis.) blasted his first bomb of the season and drove in three for Ohio. Matt Ineich (South Lyon, Mich.) drove in four. He had one hit. Trae Cassidy (Northville, Mich.) had two hits and drove in two runs. Jr Nelson (Vernon Hills, Ill.) and Jackson Cauthron (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) each drove in a run and each had a hit.
For Butler, Jack Bello ( Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) and Zac Munton (Houston, Texas) each blasted their first bomb of the season. Munton knocked in two, with Bello knocking in one. Tommy Townsend (Sycamore, Ill.) plated two runs. Jack Mproknek (Carmel, Ind.) had two hits and a RBI. Danny Barbero (Albany, N.Y.), Harry Carr (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Connor Sackett (Rochester, N.Y.) each drove in a run. Carr had three base hits.
