Duke (6-5) fell behind Northwestern (5-4) this time, 4- 1, but they came back to post the win for the second straight game. Ben Miller (Durham, N.C.) had two hits, including his first long ball of the season, to go along with 3 RBI. Jake Berger (Boston, Mass.) had two hits and drove in two. Reid Easterly (Katy, Texas) 1-0 picked up the win in relief. Owen Proksch (Southlake, Texas) earned his first save of the year.

For the Wildcats, the Wildcats got two home runs in this one with each player blasting their first dinger of the season. Preston Knott (Arlington totaled two hits and two RBI. Jackson Freeman (Ladera Ranch, Calif.) had two RBI to go with his bomb. Owen McElfatrick (Tampa, Fla.) had two hits and one RBI.

Overall the Wildcats had 11 hits, while Duke had 11.
