Dayton (9-10,1-0 A-10) picked up the conference opening win by downing George Mason (11-1,0-1 A-). Dayton opened the game with two runs in the top of the first and never relinquished the lead on their way to the 8-2 win. Dyrenson Wouters (Oranjestad, Aruba) blasted his first bomb of the season. Overall on the day he would go 2-4, score three runs and have one RBI. Rylan Lujo (Coconut Creek, Fla) had a hit and three RBI. Adin Zorn (Aliquippa, Pa.) and Martin Howell both drove in a run. Michael DiMartini (Pittsburgh, Pa) and Ty Mainolfi added two hits. For George Mason, Andrew Raymond (Middletown, Md.) blasted his first dinger of 2025. He would go 4-4 on the day. Clyne Owen (Wichita, Kan.) knocked in one and he had a hit.
