Why would a winners bracket team play 3 days in a row? It seems to benefit one team over the other, how is this fair? not directed at tristate, just general question

All scheduling is approved and handled by the district board.

I am guessing it's a timing issue, if the winners bracket were to play tomorrow, wed would be the final of losers bracket, winner of losers bracket and the winners bracket team would play thurs could be done or could play another on Friday. I think the state tourney is in Youngstown and starts saturday your going to be cutting it close anyway but to delay the game a day your talking about maybe finishing up on a Friday night then basically the winner would have to leave that night for the 5 hr drive to Youngstown. That's just might guess.92falcon wrote:Why would a winners bracket team play 3 days in a row? The losers bracket has 2 games tues, no games wed, and a monday final. Definately not a timing issue, just good scheduling by district board to give 1 team an unearned advantage!

92Falcon is correct. What was done to Minford's 9-10 Girl's team is an absolute shame. No timing issue.
