2013: Minford 33 Wheelersburg 12 at Wheelerburg. That's two years in a row, then what were you saying?

If Minford has an open date Chillicothe 8th grade would love to play them. We still need one more game.

The Junior High Argument.

Varsity Burg Verses Minford all time record

55-6......2 of those came on the same year when Parks was there.

All time record is: 51-6 per burgfan.com
What you're saying makes no sense. W'burg won those games at the Jr. High level and went on to post that all time record at the varsity level. In just the past few years, Minford has started to consistently win at the Jr. High level, so we will know here in a few years what this translate to.

Perhaps, we will see, but we lost to northwest my eighth grade year and drummed them 55 to 6 my senior year. I dont put much stock in junior high. 70% havent hit puberty.

It's not so much that I would put "very much stock," as you say into what goes on at this level; however, it's more of a confidence factor. They haven't been beat in two years, and these kids now know they can do it. Once you get a taste of success, it's difficult to accept anything less, and you start to expect it. The key is, for these groups to stick together.

Minford was in a lot of the games in the last ten than they have ever been. But when it comes to varsity sports the better athlete plays and it changes things. I see Jr. high as a learning period.
