IRON COAL BOWL NOVEMBER 3RD & 4TH

Ironton and Coal Grove are working together to put on a school team bowl game at the end of this season for 3rd/4th grade combined teams and 5th/6th grade combined teams. The games will all be held on Coal Groves high school turf field with licensed officials and scoreboard ,cost per team only being $100. The weight limit will be 120lbs for offensive backs in 3rd/4th and 135lbs for 5th/6th. Defensively players can play anywhere regardless of weight. High School rules are in effect. We would love to have a large turn out from all area schools including our friends from Kentucky and West Virgina. Looks to be a fun event. Anyone interested can get in touch with

Is this tourny gonna happen. Are there any spots left, and who has entered so far..... this could be a great tournament that could continue for years to come, its a very neutral spot, great facilities,and great food in the concession stand. would love to help out , so if u still need volunteers either pm me on here or just post it .....................

I would like to congradulate Boyd County on their win in the first annual Iron-Coal Bowl. Finishing second was Ironton...We also would like to thank South point and Rock Hill for participating and hope to have everyone back next year as we make this bigger and better. Thanks to everyone who helped on the concessions and chain gang along with the fine job our officiating crew did and the people in the press box...
