Jr. High football week 4
Re: Jr. High football week 4
Ironton should have their 5th 8th grader back as they played west with only 4 last week. Ironton is looking much better in practice and starting to get their 7th graders to step up and play to the level. Ironton might surprise some people this week.

Your saying Ironton only has 5 8th graders that's surprising.IBTT wrote:Ironton should have their 5th 8th grader back as they played west with only 4 last week. That's funny because their roster showed 10 8th graders.IBTT wrote:Ironton should have their 5th 8th grader back as they played west with only 4 last week. Ironton started with six, but one quit. However they are getting one who is moving back Thursday who will be eligible next week. So hopefully by next week they will have 6. Haha.

Other than a couple passes...our 7th graders played your 8th pretty well I would say!! We are anxious for the rematch later this season at our field when we have six 8th graders....Hahaha!!!noles_fan wrote:That's funny because their roster showed 10 8th graders.IBTT wrote:Ironton should have their 5th 8th grader back as they played west with only 4 last week. At Ironton we prepare our kids for championships in high school and college scholarships. If we win in junior high it is a bonus. With only a few 8th graders we are pretty excited about our team.

The thumping is still echoing down the scioto! Biiig hits!!! I witnessed and heard harder hitting tonight than the last few Friday games I have been to. Those Two teams lit it up. I know the boys on both sides were finished but I would have like to seen 12 minute quarters...exciting from the first drive to the victory formation.
