Easton Large with 25 and the game winner over minford tonight. Can’t wait to see this boy grow another 6 inches and dominate the league

My man! Thanks for the brackets…gonna get out to Webster and watch some games. Give me Valley as 7th grade champs over Minford. And Burg over Webster in the 8th grade championship.*
We’re on a hell of run for basketball.
Monday we watched SW jr high
Tuesday Waverly
Wednesday minford jr high at Webster
Thursday valley Jr high at Webster
Friday PW high school at Webster
Saturday the tournament begins finished with the night cap at Fairland
Off Sunday
Back for more on Monday with 8th grade
Eastern Brown varsity at Webster on the 11th
12th and 13th the tournament continues
Valentine’s Day valley varsity at Webster
The 15th it’s Waverly at Webster varsity and championship Saturday for the junior high.
From now until late March my favorite time of the year (sports-wise only, this weather sucks)!

Gonna be a lot of good bball games as always at the Jr high tourney. And Webster does an absolute first-class job as host.*

Absolutely I’ll be there in the cheap seats for it.

I’m predicting a South Webster sweep. Little Bennett and Large got too much dawg in em. Look for Allard to bust out with 20+ one of these nights.

Webster's 8th grade group has some really good pieces, but I don't see either group being able to pull off upsets.. Wheelersburg's 8th grade is just a little too athletic and disciplined to faulter and after watching last night I would say the seventh grade group is a few other players away from being able to hang with the likes of Minford, Valley or Symmes Valley (this is just based off of what I have heard about them). I will be interested to see how well they are able to match up with the Kraft and Parsley kids from minford and then valley's athletes if both are able to advance to the seventh grade championship. Should be some fun matchups to watch.

Symmes Valley 7th graders end the regular season 10-0 with a win over South Gallia last night.

Symmes Valley 8th grade with a win to move to 9-4 over South Gallia as well.

Excited to see everyone at Webster starting tomorrow as the 7th grade battles Oak Hill in the first round.

7th grade report

Thought Valley looked good today as well as Minford.

Didn’t get to see Burg but heard they defeated Webster.

Vikings played well in a romp over Oak Hill. They’ll face Minford in what will be a dandy on Wednesday night.

I was in the big gym.
SW Burg was head to head until about 1:30 to play when burg pulled ahead. I think it was 21-27. Bennett fouled out with about 2:30 to play. Unfortunately Webster 7 doesn’t have any dawgs besides him.

Minford dominated Northwest by 30 points or so

Looking forward to 8th grade.

7th grade boys matchups for Wednesday night:

Valley v. Burg
Minford v. Symmes Valley

Anybody know how the girls' 7/8 games came out Saturday?

swanker: Bennett is a solid player for the 7th grade Jeeps. I also like Keslar and Bobst as kids who will get better as they mature. Burg's size advantage and physicality were just too much down the stretch for the Jeeps even though Webster looked like they had the better basketball talent.*

Dang, Allard had that many? Geez, we played harder this time around, but just don't have it this year. Pretty sure we (valley) were outscored by single players each time we played the jeeps. Will be a good one between them and burg for the ship.

Minford over SV tonight.

Hats off to Minford! They were very disciplined and got up in you with the pressure. Definitely came to play.

Good season SV, get your breath and get back in the gym and keep getting better.
