BRAD PIKE OF CHESAPEAKE 6-0 210LBS TACKLE.. HE WAS THE LEAD BLOCKER FOR CHESAPEAKES GOOD BACKS THIS YEAR THEY WERE O.V.C CHAMPS ONCE AGAIN!!
Re: 8th Grade Lineman
Coach Ball turns out some good one's every year, that's why they win every year. Pike just happens to have the size to be a good one.
Re: 8th Grade Lineman
this year coal grove has the 2 best guards that they have had in a while in #53 jacob boccook and #54 levi wyatt. both are beasts and use perfect technique. also coal grove has a pretty good center and decent tackles although blaike danner #56 the right tackle is getting a whole lot better every game
Re: 8th Grade Lineman
Jackson 8th grade has a couple big, strong, solid boys that handle the line very well. They work the line Great both ways.

Re: 8th Grade Lineman
AS a mom of the CGJH ftball team I am proud of what the team has accomplished! Without the line there would be no team! You can not get anywhere without the line!!! #54 and #53 are awsome linebackers & guards!!! I have seen #54 hit a boy so hard at the South Point game Thursday night that he could not get up from a hurt leg, let me tell you #54 may be short but SIZE DOES NOT MATTER! #33 had 2 great fumble recoveries!! #1 AWSOME THROW TO #33 for a touch down and #1 as well as some great tackles! #12 great fumble recovery too. WAY TO GO BOYS KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB AND LETS WIN THE OVC AGAIN THIS YEAR!!!!!!

Marietta has five good lineman plus a great blocking tight end. Jimmy Dye is 6'0 280 at tackle. Jeremy Reeder is 5'10 175 and has great technique at guard. Trevor Strahler is 5'11 270 at center. Will Cogswell is 5'11 200 and is a beast on both defense and offense. Ethan Strauss is 5'10 160 but is one of the strongest kids on the team. Eddie Kimbrough is 5'10 230 at tight end. So just clearing that up from our weigh in before practice.

I am sure all those big guys will be thrilled that everyone knows there exact weight. Your opinion is valued, and it sure sounds like you are a member of the team. Having said that I am sure, other than the weight, those kids will be excited you think highly of them. Jeremy Reeder has come along way and is pulling his weight this season, “great techniqueâ€, well he is getting better everyday. Jimmy Dye needs to get stronger in the off season and work on his footwork. Trevor Strahler for his size is our most in shape lineman. He is very smart and spent a lot of time in the weight room this off season. Ethan Strauss now I know for a fact that he is not top 4 in strength on the team, Good and Leach are top 2 in this area with Strahler, and eddy, rounding out top 4. I have all the max out in the high school weight room were so many kids worked so hard this off season. Strauss is one of my favorite 8th grade Tigers and he and I have a good relationship. Overall I would say Ethan is our best lineman. Last but not least Will Cogswell as a lineman he is very good. In the future, Will has a chance to be an all state player on Defense. Beast, no, I would call Will a MONSTER!!! As for old #7, there may be a surprise in his Football future. May be ready to play sooner than anyone thinks.

#53 jacob bocook and #54 levi wyatt are very good guards this year both from CG.....levi came from fullback and Bocook came from TE to help the hornets line........they both use perfect form and can clear some big paths for there backs........both of them playing middle backer also not letting the oppisite team get any yards..............#33 bryan steele has ecellent hands and is a very good defensive player from outside backer........CG is VERY talented this year

Hunter mckee #75 from waverly is the best defensive end in the state theres no doubt in my mind everygame he's played in the other team double teamed him when they ran the other way and never threw the ball after the first 3 minutes of each game he has the best chance of anyone in ohio to go all american defensive end

Re: 8th Grade Lineman
i agree tiger fan,but hunter needs to fill out a little before we start talkin all american.
also he is fortunate enough to play RE, where most teams base formation is pro so he doesnt have a TE on his side a lot.
im no taking anything away from him because he is a very dominant player.
but your selling him short of the credit he deserves, not only does he play well defensivly he has only aloud 1 sack all year from the LT position on offense.
