It does not look like anybody has any predictions. I would like to see Eastern with a win, I know their coach works really hard for them , like to see it pay off. Good luck to all the teams.

After round one:

Southern beats South Gallia to advance and play Wahama

Eastern beats Symmes Valley to advance and play Meigs who beat River Valley

Next round games to take place Monday night at Southern Elementary.

Vc 7th grade played Meigs and won by 15, Meigs will win this tourney.
Meigs was the best team VC 7th grade played in regular season.
VC 7th finished with 12-0 regular season.

I am hoping the Eastern Eagles can win this one tonight. They are capable of it just do not know if they will show up to play or not.

what a excellant game tonight. Eastern came out with all the heart of a Lion. The eastern team has really improved over the season and owe the coach a lot of gratitude. Good Job Coach Carroll, and Good Luck Wednesday night.

championship game is at the Southern High School at 6:00 between the Wahama White Falcons and the Meigs Marauders.

Consoliation game is between Southern Tornadoes and the Eastern Eagles.

The championship game was played tonight due to the weather pushing this back a day. Meigs came out to play tonight. At the end of one Meigs 14-4 lead. and then Meigs did not stop. Meigs wins with a 41-25 spread. Everyone from Meigs team came out and played well. Coach Shank has motivated and turned these boys into a great team oriented players. Dustin Ulbrich and Dylan Boyer was named to the all- tournament team, and Dylan was named tournament MVP. Meigs had a wonderful 13-3 season. Great job all season long.

I know Nelsonville York beat Meigs twice this year. Who was there other loss to? Did they play Athens or Vinton?

NELSONVILLE YORK BEAT MEIGS ONCE THIS YEAR, THE SECOND GAME MEIGS WON IN OVERTIME AT NELSONVILLE. MEIGS WAS BEAT 1 OF 2 AGAINST GALLIA ACADEMY AND 1 BY VINTON COUNTY.
