Will junior high boys basketball drills begin Monday? Haven't seen any announcements in the paper or postings on here.

I know they have 13 girls on the 8th grade team and the 7th has 12. 8th grade had several returning from last year. I hope all teams work hard and bring home the SEOAL championship.

Veteran 8th grade Gallipolis coach Jim Niday greeted 16 prospects this evening on Washington school hardwood. Eleven of the prospects played for Tom Hopkins 7th graders (8-5) last winter. Five other prospects reporting did not play last year.

Anybody have a schedule for Gallia Academy's 7th and 8th grade teams? Do they have any scrimmages lined up?

Undertand Gary Harrison will coach the GA Junior High 7th grade this winter.

Tom Hopkins, veteran 7th trade coach, had his work schedule changed at GDC, thus he had to give up his second job.

Looks like Gallia's 7th graders have some pretty good kids coming up.

Jim Niday has 15 or 16 8th graders, and they are getting into shape for the new campaign.

They've got more size this year and most of these kids have played together since the third grade.

Offense, with a run and shoot style of ball, is coming around, and the 8th graders plan to play a tough man-to-man defense.
