GAHS 8th Grade Girls defeated Eastern tonight 37-31. Megan Cochran had 20 points. The Angels host Meigs on Wednesday.

The 7th and 8th grade girls beat Meigs last night at Washington Elementary. I am not sure of the scores. They host Chesapeake tonight at Washington.

Gallipolis 7th & 8th both beatg Chesapeake tonight. The 8th grade won 50-35 their record is 3-0. Not sure of 7th grade score they improve to 2-1. Next game is next Thursday when we host Jackson.

Gallia Girls travelled to Logan last night. The 7th grade girls won not sure of score. The 8th grade lost 45-40 in a hard fought battle, after being down 15 or 20 at one point. Both 8th grade teams had several turnovers and some foul trouble.

Gallia will host Chillicothe on Thursday at Washington Elem 5:30 starting time weather permitting.

GAHS 7th & 8th Grade girls both against Chillicothe on Thursday evening. I am not sure of 7th grade score, but 8th won 55-17. Megan Cochran had 24 points for the Blue Angels. Way to go!

The 7th & 8th grade are both 4-1 I believe.

The girls travel to Eastern on Monday and Chesapeake on Tuesday.

Both GAHS girls teams were beat last night at Eastern. I am not sure of either score. Neither of the teams played very well. Must be the Christmas break thing.

We travel to Chesapeake tonight. Bounce back Angels. We need a good win!

We had two wins tonight against Chesapeake. 7th Grade won like 39-6. 8th Grade won 33-31 in another tough game. Chesapeake was up aound 5 with about a minute to go and their turnovers gave us the opporunity to win that game.

We don't play again until the 5th of January. 8th Grade is going to have to start hitting foul shots and easy layups.

GAHS played Ironton Monday night. The 7th grade won in a close game and the 8th grade lost 55-51 in overtime. One of Ironton's girls seriously hurt her knee. I hope that she will be okay.

Gallipolis travels tonight to Meigs. Goodluck Angels. We need to start playing more team ball to get back on track to winning games. The girls underneath need to be getting the ball more and we need to be more efficient at the charity stripe.

Gallipolis 7th & 8th grade girls both won last night against Meigs. Not sure of the scores but Kassie Shriver had 15 points for the 7th grade and Megan Cochran was the high scorer on the 8th grade team.

Both girls teams lost to Jackson last night. The 7th grade was down quite a bit and came back to lose 33-27 I believe. I am not sure about the 8th grade score I believe it was 30 something to 18.

We host Logan on Thursday at Washington Elementary. Try and finish strong we have only 4 games left.

Both Gallipolis girls teams won last nigh at Chillicothe. 7th Grade won by at least 30 and 8th Grade won 43-26 with Maggie Bostic hitting a 3 pointer at the last second of the game.

Congrats on a good win, let's get focused for Ironton.
