Nice win for Peebles over a team that gave them a pretty close game last year. It was a very well-balanced attack for the Indians. This is a very deep group of players and they play well together and look for the open player. Glad to see that Trent Arey is back healthy and playing now.

It must have been a very well-balanced team effort from the stats provided. Scoring 51 points and only having one player in double figures (12 points at that) shows the depth of the Peebles' 8th grade team. From people I talked to who were there, they were impressed with Stone Crothers and Tyler Gray's performances.

from what i heard from some people, whiteoak dodn't look so good against north adams. peebles will get the job done.

Peebles Jr.High looked very good and impressed me Overall from last year.Tarheelfan44 -In the 2nd quarter Peebles pulled the press off-Everytime You put it back on they did.I agree with that type of coaching.The arey boy Did not play,but they still won by 40-50.Crothers,Chandler,Gray,and Mcdowwel came in and impressed with their athletic skills and speed.West Union was supposed to be league champs,but from what i saw they will maybe win 2 games this year.Their coach is running a very Un-organized basketball program and are making things worse for the kids.The handbacks at the top of the key maybe worked in elementary ball,but they need to learn an offense

Peebles will have a tough match and i dont know if they will come out with a win against whiteoak it will be a hard-worked game.

yes it will be a good game.NA also did some half-couurt trap defence but pulled out of it after it was beaten a few times.Also,Peebles is so deep that eben if 2 or 3 players have a bad game,they have kids ready to step up to the challenge.

If half of those players have good games Peebles will beat Whiteoak. Peebles has to much talent and depth for other teams in the SHL to shut them down, but i do think White Oak and Ripley will be the two teams to give Peebles a run for there money.

West Union was supposed to be league champs??????? What fantasy world was the committee that decided that WU would be league champs living in????

Can someone please explain to me how after Peebles(8th Grade) crushed their competition last year and went undefeated, won the league and the tournament, and brought everybody back this year(stronger and better than last year), how that team wouldn't be the favorite again to win the league??? I mean most people would think that would be the logical thing to do!!!
