Congratulations to these young ladies on a very fine accomplishemnt. Coming out of the losers bracket and having to beat a team twice is not an easy task.

The girls had a little parade this evening and came to the ball fields for pics. Wayne Allen from the Times was there taking pictures and talking to Mike & the girls for an article. Hopefully we will get the coverage they aways give to other teams when they win big.

They should. Winning a state title at any level is quite an accomplishment and should get top billing in our local paper. These girls deserve that at the very least. I don't know a single girl on that team and I'm just as proud of them as if I'd have known them all, just as all of Scioto county should be.
