I said in games I've watched ---are you bragging about beating the smallest of SOC1 teams ? I'm sure there are teams out there that would drill your "great" team should you ever venture beyond Scioto Co . Or you could stay local and go undefeated every year. big fish little pond stuff. roll that and smoke it.

No disrespect to Notre Dame because they have a very good team. Actually, that is why the Burg wanted to scrimmage them late November because of their success last year and their height. As for only playing Scioto County schools, the boys always scrimmage Ironton, which is a great tune up before the season starts and they go outside the conference to play a home and away with Portsmouth, whom has a solid 7th and 8th grade class this year.

western girls lost to new boston 30-17. one lady indian player was taken to the hospital during the game due to hitting her head during game play.

western boys came out with a win, not sure what the final was. one indian player suffered a head injury as well. believe hes ok, but man, the refs sure did let the kids play!

Heard some Valley parents got escorted out by sherriff's deputy at the girls games. Why?

Valley parents evidently think that the West coaches are responsible for all the calls that the officials
make. Even had a trailer trash parent scream at a 13 year old girl for a remark that her daughter made
in the first place. They were a total embarressment.

just back from 1st visit ever to Ironton st Joe, Neat old gym, the looks are neat but the seating is a disaster, only about 15 good seats on the front row , the rest are "restricted view" anyway our ND girls played very poorly against a very good and well coached St Joe team. down 23-5 at the half, cut he lead to 8 in the 4th but fell by 12 or 14. I'd go as far as stating st Joe is the best overall team I've seen the last 2 years at this age group . 6 footer in the middle , 2 slick quick ballhandlers out front. hopefully we play alot smarter next time around. pepsiman- was your comment even directed at me ? I thought maybe you were talking about someone mentioning about parents being escorted out of games .

my comments were complimentary of a very good St Joe team . My wrap was barely a paragraph . Why the griping ?
