Fantastic! You are probably right about the back to back night's games. You are right about next week, the schedule says 3 games for 7th grade, WOW! I am soooooo proud!

Jake, would like to respond to the question about if phipps would have made a difference against Western. I obviously have not seen him play, but he would need to score 30 to make a difference in the outcome. Western was up 19 at the half. They didnt play there two best kids the entire second half in order to let them try to play in the 8th grade game. I asked the coach to look at the book. In the third quarter Clay outscored western 9-3. In the fourth quarter Clay outscored Western 15-11. If western plays there two best kids they win by 35 no problem. On the road is always more difficult, but i honestly believe that Western will win by 20 if the Coach plays his players the entire time. Was really impressed by Clays 8th grade team. And the Clay Coach was very classy in how he played it. Good luck and see you on the 8th.

Well I guess we will see about if Phipps would make a difference. Phipps is a strong point guard and it took the first half for Clay to figure out how to play without him. I know the 7th grade is waiting for their chance to play Western again. They are working hard and played a very tuff game last night and pulled out the win in the last min. of the game. They are fighters and won't give up.

Both Clay teams won against SW. The 7th grade won 33-30 and the 8th grade won by about 10 points.
