South Point's field is fine according to the Middle School Coaches and parents. HS coach won't play there though. I really think it is a battle between the HS Coach being upset that the new field wasn't ready and the Little League. NEither group wants to work on the field the only work done on it this year was done by the middle school parents and coaches.The field doesn't hold much water after storms and is quite playable. The infield grass is a little rough but it really gives SP the advantage because they are used to the bad hops!

Wheelersburg 8th grade over Greenup County Freshmen 1-0. The Pirates scored in the bottom of the first inning and that's the way the game ended after 7 innings. Congrats Pirates! (The Greenup County Freshmen team was made up of Freshmen and Middle School kids)

Ironton St.Joseph won over the East Tartans. They were ending their game as we arrived. I believe both teams are 7 & 8th combined.
