Who are the top players in the area? 7th or 8th grade, the southern ohio magic will be looking around the area to fill rosters in the upcoming seasons, so prior to that, who in your opinion are the top players?

Austin McBee 7th grader at Wheelersburg, formerly of Minford is easily the best 7th grader, and except for a Portsmouth 8th grader the best junior high player.

McBee is a nice well rounded player, its unfortunate for minford that me made the move to burg along with the others. I just spoke with a southern ohio magic 14u coach, which is mainly a 8th grade team, and he is already expressing interest in Tyler Evans a 7th grader from minford.

Whitley from Burg and Evans from Ironton are by far better than McBee.

Don't know about some of the other schools but I know the Burg has some very promising young players. Probably there best 8th grader will be Zaide Whitley and I have never seen McBee play but I have seen Clay Massie play and he is a very well rounded player. Not to mention a great scorer. But what I have seen from McBee watching Junior High football this year, he is a great athlete.

Trent Arey a 7th grader from Peebles is going to be a good one.

I agree with I Bleed Orange n Black very good 8th grade team and a good 7th grade team. But the 8th graders next year as freshmen will have a GREAT team with tranfer of 6'5" forward Mike Terry

When I was in 8th Grade last year we had a guy named Cody Delaney who was 6'6", but he didn't play any sports, only the snare.
But does anyone remember that 6'9" 13 year old, with the size 19 shoes. He played in the Little League World Series 2 years back.

Mike Terry is a player, He put one down in a summer league game, that I was officiating in an 8th grade game. 6'5, smooth with the ball, can jump out of the gym.. Rock HIll or Ironton.. whoever gets this kid, is going to have a D1 player on there roster. I've seen a lot of talented 8th grade players, this kid would be top 5 that I've seen.
