Ironton Little League signups & changes
The Ironton Little League will have signups the next two Saturdays 3/1 and 3/8 at Bob Linn Sporting Goods from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. All interested players and coaches should register at that time. Tryouts will be held on 3/15.
The Ironton Little League is also attempting to get online this season. We will have a website that will allow parents to access schedules and be notified by email and text message when changes are made. We are asking parents to include their email addresses when they register players to see this new system in action.

You'll need some personal information that you would likely already know. You'll also need to bring your drivers license so the league can perform a background check on you.

Are we still going to have TigerBlood iceballs?
I had heard someone from Portsmouth had bought up all the juice.

ITHC, we did have a shortage but we have found a supplier to keep us in Tigerblood iceballs no matter how many those Portsmouth guys buy.

Bob Linn's is closed due to the weather so there will be no signups today. Players may still signup at the tryouts which will be held next Saturday at times to be determined.

There will be another registration day after being snowed out Saturday. Players and managers can register on Thursday, 3/13/08 between 5:30 and 7:30 at the Ironton High School on Delaware Street.
Here is the tryout schedule.
Saturday, March 15 at the Ironton Little League Fields.
On Little League Field
10:00 - 7-8 year old boys and girls Minor League tryouts
11:00 - 9-10 year old boys Little League Baseball tryouts
11:45 - 11-12 year old boys Little League Baseball tryouts
On Girls Field
10:00 - 9-10 year old girls Softball tryouts
10:30 - 11-12 year old girls Softball tryouts
In case of inclement weather, the tryouts will be moved to the Ironton High School gym also on Saturday. The times will be posted in the newspaper. They will be the same for the boys with the girls moving to 12:15 and 12:45.

Re: Ironton Little League signups & changes
Okay, now I am confused. I just saw the message about signing up at the high school after reading that we could sign up at the tryouts. I missed the sign ups tonight. Can we still sign up at the tryouts? They surely would not turn anyone away would they?

You definitely could sign up at try-outs. My guess would be the try-outs will be moved to the gym on Delaware St.
