Anyone know when the Webster Junior High Tourney is for girls?

After getting to watch all the teams play this season, I think there should be some good games to watch. Lots of talent out there!

Want to catch these teams at tourney if anyone knows schedule yet, please post. Thx

First round is scheduled for Saturday, February 6th. Some teams still have a few makeup games to play next week.

Has anyone seen the bracket for this yet?

Got a glimpse of the bracket, not sure if its legit. But if so, how is seeding determined. Curious how the #3 team plays #4 team first round? Is it a blind draw, just curious..

Going to be a good campionship matchup sat. With oak hill and Minford. I bounced back and forth between the both and its a toss up. Clay gave Oak Hill a battle, Clay was down quite a bit and came back to lose by 4. Minford is tough. Take #2 oak hill, #23 oak hill, #10 Valley, #25 Clay, #20 Minford and put on the court as a team and they will dominate!!

Id take that team also. Would be kinda nice to have an all league game between SOC 1 and 2. Lots of talent out there.

That's not even counting the Sissel from nd, Deere from SV and oiler from nb. I agree the soc should have a combined end of the yr tourney. maybe soon. its long overdue.

In general the SOC 1 teams cannot usually compete with the SOC 2 because they have so many fewer girls in the schools. Clay has had one of the best SOC 1 programs the last couple years but were not very competitive against the top SOC 2 teams. A Lot of the SOC 1 teams do not have enough girls to have 7th grade teams. Now if you are talking an SOC 1 v. SOC 2 all star game that would be competetive and entertaining.

I've seen some good talent this year in 8th grade in SOC2. Some girls that can play varsity now #10 Valley, #2 Oaks, #10'minford, #25 clay and some that will have to spend a year at the JV level. One thing I have noticed the girls who don't pick a basketball up until season begins need to understand that if you want to get better it comes with work and dedication to the sport (playing beyond regular season) enhancing your skill set will get you to the next level to play varsity.
