Trimble v. Nelsonville Boys Jr. High Game

Post by ZeekfromCabinCreek »

Congratulations to Nelsonville 7th and 8th grade Jr. High Boys Basketball team yesterday on a hard fought win against the Tomcats. The 8th grade give Trimble their first loss of the year.

4 of our Valley boys when they were in the 3rd or 4th grade played in the Nelsonville Gus Macker against 4 boys from Nelsonville .....match ups were great ...Valley boys prevailed to win the Macker age division....but man very good intense games for their age.....congrats to the Neslonville foursome hoping you are still playing together as our 4 are ....sounds like it was a very good game between 2 good teams

Yes both are good teams and have some good quality players. For Nelsonville...Warren, Andrews and Godenschwager. For Trimble...Jenkins, Sayre and Guthrie usually do well.

All 5 starters for Trimble are pretty solid with a Losey kid coming off the bench who has a lot of potential. I have watched this trimble team for years when they have played Nelsonville and its always a good game.
