didnt say it was an all 8th grade team. makes it uneven for any team to take there top 8th graders even if it is only 4 or 5kids . both teams played very hard. congrats to portsmouth for winning but cant say 14 - 0 was a blowout.

Totally agree. Give West just 1 lineman and 1 back off of the 8th grade team and I think they would be unstoppable. Congrats to West 7th and 8th grade on their win over Waverly.

I am sure the AD,S from other schools was told we only had one team,and there would be 8th graders playing, jez they have only won 2 games so its not like its a stacked team to beat up on everyone...but sure isnt anything said, when the 7th graders beat up on the 8th graders,,,is there?

Whoever the "West Sider" is that told you that they had 8th graders when they came to Portsmouth was wrong. The team that was at Portsmouth everyone of them has played together since the 2nd grade with the exception of one kid who moved to West in I believe the 4th or 5th grade.

like I said, it was only what I was told, im not looking for an argument.

I have said all along, if we have a combined 7th and 8th grade team, then the teams we play should be alowed to bring the same.

I know Chillicothe brought their 7th grade team,and beat Portsmouth teir 8th grade team had a game somewhere else from what I was told at the game.

and im not sure who all beat them, but assuming we are playing a 7th grade schedule, then everyone that beat us was a 7th grade team?
