Not the way we wanted to start for the 7th grade team...They lost again by 20pts to Lynchburg...the kids half to listen to the coaching staff and get out of the pee-wee style...just half to keep are heads up and keep working hard..

8th grade won 41-37...I am very proud of the boys...they listen and did what the coach wanted to do...but we still have alot of work to do...Congrats to the 8th grade team...listen to your coach...he is there to help you...GO DRAGONS!!

I take it you coach the 7th grade?
That is the biggest problem with 7th graders. They are used to playing against each other in biddy-leauge. Building the comradarie, and getting them to play as a team is the toughest part of coaching 7th grade basketball.
Vinton County will be good, and everyone on SEOP knows about the 8th grade.
