Sign ups will be held the end of February for the the younger groups 8u-12u and tryouts in March. Will post the dates as soon as possible. Tryouts will be held at SSU.

Southern Ohio Magic will be holding sign-ups Feb. 8th at the Vern Riffe School from 3:00 to 4:30 for 8u/3rd grade thru 11u/6th grade. All the information will be posted on our web site at

Tryouts will be held in March and will also be posted.

Practices will be determined by the coaches. Coaches are flexible and try to hold practices somewhere in the middle of his players travel. Tournaments will start around the first of April and end in June or July depending as to whether your team goes to state and nationals tournaments.

You can print off a coach application from our web site at
www.southernohiomagic.org and mail it in. Or you can pick up an application at our sign-ups.

Southern Ohio Magic will help the coaches find practice times and facilities if the coach is unable to find a gym. Our local schools have helped with practice times and we appreciate all the schools that has allowed Southern Ohio Magic teams use their facilities. Shawnee State has backed Southern Ohio Magic. Last year we were unable to use their gym as they were replacing the floor.
