Yes, 3rd and 4th grade girls will play the same week, at the primary school. call 740-776-2123. There will also be a boys all star tournament on 3-2-09 thru 3-8-09. This will be 3rd thru 6th grade. With a 8 team limit per grade.

Is the Minford 6th grade entering the lucasville tournament?

I don't know if the 6th grade is in the Lucasville tournament.

Wondering if anyone knows for sure the type of tournament this is? I have been told that it was only rec. all-star teams, ALL PLAYERS ARE TO BE FROM THE SAME DISTRICT, but now hear from other coaches that they were told; they could have who ever they wanted on the team REGARDLESS of where they are from. I know of 2 travel teams in this tourney, I wish it was clear.

the rule states all players must play or live in the same district and they must be in the 6th grade or under.

Since the heading did not say "school teams only" or no other restrictions then I would expect All-star teams in this tourney. I always ask before I enter just to make sure. I have been at tourneys for school teams only and know for a fact that some teams did not comply but we played anyway.I heard that Gallipolis has a All-star team but not sure it is the same team playing in this tourney.

Valley 5th grade beat Piketon 5th grade 26-14. All the girls for Valley scored in the game. Great hustle and effort by the lady indians.
