3/4 grade girls tournament will be Feb. 16-22 at the Valley elementary Gym. 5/6 grade girls tournament will be Mar. 2-8 at Valley Jr. High Gym. High school rules except for pressing. Each grade will be separate if enough teams. Cost $100 per team. Call Brent Munn 354-6935 or 357-1883. Also can call Tracy Munn 357-7763.

This tournament will have licensed officials.

Any word on boys tournaments for 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. From your former coworker at the gas station.

From what I have heard the boys tournament is the week of Feb. 23 but not for sure. We have two separate boards for the boys and the girls leagues. Tim Harr is over the boys league.

6th and 4th grade girls bracket is filling up. We need some more 5th and 3rd grade teams. Each grade will be separate if enough teams.

We currently have 5 teams in the 6th grade girls, 5 teams in the 4th grade girls, 3 teams in the 5th grade girls, and only two teams in the 3rd grade girls. Grades will be kept separate if enough teams.

We need at least one more 5th grade team and would like to have two more 3rd grade teams. Please contact Brent or Tracy at 354-6935 or 357-1883 or 357-7763.

Cut off day for any new teams is Thursday Feb. 12 for the 3rd and 4th grade tournament which will begin the week of the 16th. There are currently 5 teams in the 4th grade bracket and only 2 in the third.

If we can get one more third grade team we will separate from the fourth grade. The 3 teams would play a round robin then a single elimination tournament.

The third grade teams will play with the 4th grade if no more 3rd grade teams enter. They will play each other in the first round.

If one more third grade team enters then the third grade teams will play a round robin then a single elimination tournament.

Just a suggestion if no more teams sign up put the Minford 3/4 with the 3rd grade. That will give the 4th grade even teams. And the 3rd grade can play together.

The Minford 3/4 team only has a few 3rd graders if I remember what the coach said. The valley team is actually a 2/3 grade team with three second graders.

How is west gonna be there when they have a tourney the same week. Did west change their date

West did not have many teams in their 3/4 grade tournament. So they entered their teams in our tournament. So West must have cancelled their 3/4 grade tournament. There is not enough interest in the younger girls tournaments and several schools don't have enough girls to have teams.

When will know the brackets and game times?

I already have brackets and game times set unless new teams enter tonight. If no new teams then I will post bracket and times tomorrow.

Games will be played on the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 21st. Times will be 6, 7 , 8pm on the 16th, 17th and 6, 7pm on the 18th.

Minford 3/4 has bye and will play on Tuesday @ 7pm.
