Western @ Eastern Triple Header --- Cancelled for Tonight

Post by CoachClaytor »

Western was supposed to travel to couty rival Eastern tonight, but due to the weather, the game has been cancelled. Hopefull we can make the game up, but with the short amount of time left, it will probably be hard to make the game up.

why make up atleast the 8th grade game when these two play again at the high school level, think of the crowd that the kids would play in front of plus it would give the fans of the two teams a 8th grade game, JV game, and Varsity game to watch.

That's a good idea. That's happened a few times this year at Peebles for girls games where either the 7th or 8th grades played before the JV game. Several times this year in boys there's been Freshmen, JV, and Varsity. It makes for a long night, but fans get a chance to watch a lot of basketball and it typically does bring in some nice crowds.

Tartan,

That would be a great idea, However, I believe it is already a triple header when Eastern travels to Western. I am 95% positive that there is a freshman game first. So although your idea is a great one, it would not work in this case.
