We got our game in --went to minford instead of hosting , they have a brick dust surface that dryed out decently. Was pretty soft but playable. Game ended 1-1 tie thru 9 complete , needless to say a pitchers duel. Griffith and Pauley both pitched very nicely. ND got a leadoff triple in the 9th but did'nt score. Minford made several nice plays in the outfield ---fielded every, or nearly every fly ball we hit at them. nice game to start the season. Pauley must have had 16-17 K's , maybe more .

Stopped by the rubyville fields on the way home, Clay was out in front of NW pretty far. MD

we are now encountering a scheduling nightmare!! since the regular season schedule was not set in stone ie..the home team establishes wether we play on Sat. or Sun. it is impossible to re-schedule without your next away opponent tells you in a timely manner when we will play.now we are dealing with the weather, track, and our own not set in stone schedule!!

buckeye 83 --set make ups during the week --there are no limits to when you can play -- call people and schedule all the games you wish. MD

Buckeye 83 is right, schedule dates should have been set. East cancelled, I think because of
travel volleyball. Raceland coach can't be reached, and won't return calls. If the dates were
set, the opposing coach would'nt have to be reached other than a rain-outs.

West cancelled with East due to a track meet on Thursday.

I'll play somebody Thursday.

Call the East coach.

putting out a schedule with sat-sun flexable actually helps IMO, but if a coach can't be contacted or won't return calls thats a different problem. There are 15 teams --start at the top and call other coaches -- . We are not playing for any regular season trophy or anything like that. If team A is hard to get booked call teams b,c,d,e etc etc. Call ND anytime , we will travel or host if field is available. good luck MD

BUCKEYE 83-- I'll try, but I believe I've got the same cell # you have from the coach's list. But I know a few raceland guys --I'll tell them to track Chuck down. MD
