I know BWH has them all. 11-12 Girls are at Ironton, along with the State Tournament. 15-16 Sr. Boys are at Green. I believe the 11-12 Boys are at Lucasville.

Just wondering why all the boys divisions are in scioto county except for one. Was there no interest in lawerence county leagues to host a couple more of there?

Can someone explain to me how you separate a 10 or 11 year old when you have a 9-10 and 10-11 or 10-11 and 11-12 tournaments? Which team does the 10 year old or 11 year old play on when it is covering the same age in both tournaments?

The way most leagues run things is to have the 11-12 year old team decided first. Then the 9-10 year old team. After that, 11 year olds and 10 year olds not making another team may be eligilble for the 10-11 year old team.

There is not an official 10-11 year old District 11 Little League tournament.

Only 9-10 and 11-12.

There is an official District 11 10-11 year old tournament. It will be hosted by the Chesapeake Little League. The winner of the District tournament advances to state play. That tournament will also be held in Chesapeake this year. That age group can't advance any further than state play however.

Are you certain that this is a "Little League" sanctioned? If so, things have really changed since I was involved. I remember at one time there was only 11 and 12 Little League tournament. This is getting a little carried away.

Yes it is Little League santctioned. Not getting carried away at it all. It is for the 11 yr olds to develope for their 12 yr old year.I personay think it was a wise move.

I think 9 - 10 All-Stars and then move on to 11 - 12 All-Stars would be fine. No need for 10 - 11. Most leagues 9-10 and 11 - 12 leagues. All-Stars should be the best out of those leagues. From someone's explanation earlier of what the 10 - 11 tournament is, it just sounds like it is the kids who weren't really good enough to make the other teams? I just don't see the point in this. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against it or anything I just don't think it makes a lot of sense. Just too many tournaments going, it should be a goal or a big deal to make the all-star team. The way it is now, just about every kid is just put on an all-star team.

Not every kid is on a All Star team. True some may not be good enough to be on the 11-12 but some are but don't make it because of the numbers and political game. The 11 yr old division helps counteract that to a point.I have seen it help kids who were 11 for their 12 yr old year. It along with the whole All Star concept has it's pros and cons.
