This game is for the Clay's 7th grade because NB only has a combined team of 7th and 8th grade. Any thoughts??

New Boston has some tall boys on their team. I think if Hines and Wallburn can post up then they can score under the boards and on the other end defend the basket. M. Smith is getting some real height on his rebounding and is starting to score well. Swayne is coming into his own and starting to really click. Hurt, Phipps, and Phillips all got a good look at NB when the 8th graders took them on and they held their own against the NB team. If Clay comes in ready to play then Clay by 10 if they play like they did at Eastern, well it may be a lot closer game but Clay will still pull out the win.

GOOD LUCK BOYS!!! :122245

It will be a tough game for the Panthers! I heard that NB gave ND 8th grade a tough 1.5 quarters last week. I won't be there, but in spirit I will back Clay 100%!
GO PANTHERS!

I think the Clay 7th graders will have to come out fast and strong. If they do then Clay will take the early lead and hold it to the end for a Clay VICTORY!!!

Clay wins by about 20. Clay like 40-20. Hurt had another good nite with about 16 points. Phillips hit a couple of 3's. I think just about everyone scored and I know everyone played. NB actually had the lead at first and then Clay took the lead and never looked back. 4th qtr. Compton put in Riffe, Gabe Smith, Lewis, Hines, and Walburn to finish the game. They worked well together.

Next up WEBSTER!!!

Great news! I'm so happy for those kids! Both teams are on a roll, but I honestly wasn't sure how the game would go against NB. If all the boys scored, that is a bonus!

Both Clay teams won against SW. The 7th grade played sloppy and slow moving. SW really ready for Clay this time. They took the lead and at times Clay was down by about 10. In the 4th Compton pulled the team back together and team started pulling SW back. It was tied and back and forth with the led until Clay rebounded and Hurt drove the ball in to take a 2 point lead. Then SW tried to inbound the ball and Phipps stole the ball and was fouled sending him to the line where he made one shot. With 5 seconds left on the clock Clay stopped SW from making any 3s and won 30-33.
The 8th grade played awesome!! Clay took the lead and never looked back. Both Micheals had to have at least 20 points on the night. GREAT games to watch!!

By the way heard Clay's 8th grade won against East tonight. Didn't see the game but heard Clay by about 10 again.
