I heard that Fairfield 7th grade boy's beat West Union with a last second shot 42-41.

Any other results would be appreciated.

West Union 7th and 8th grade boys lost by 1 and both lost on last second shots.

What about the 8th grade Manchester/ White Oak game. Who won?

Whiteoak defeated Manchester on Saturday.

8th Grade...The next set of games will be played at Ripley Middle School on Feb. 17th.

I believe the championship games start at 5:30...7th Grade first, followed by 8th Grade..

Is it Eastern Vs Fairfield for the 8th grade title at 7:30pm? Fairfield already beat them during the season

I was told yesterday Fairfield is out of the tournament because of a ineligble player. Lynchburg and Fayetteville will play tonight to see who plays Eastern tomorrow in the 8th grade championship game.

It's true Fairfield is out.

The boy's were told yesterday, apparently one of the boy's was asked to play on a YMCA recreation team 2 weeks ago. His parents asked the YMCA director in Hillsboro if it would be OK, since he was still playing Jr High ball. They were told it was OK.

Unfortunately, it's wasnt.

It's a shame the boy's were playing great ball.

Every parent and athlete are given the rules at a meeting before the season. Asking a YMCA Manager and not the Athletic Dir. at the school was foolish on the parents end.

Agreed.............painful lesson for the team...............It's a shame great kid and parents.

WOW...Lynchburg beat Eastern

Lynchburg was beaten by Fairfield but Fairfield had an ineligible player so LC gets another chance and takes it all.

Wish we ( Fairfield ) could have played but that the way it goes.

Great group of talented young players going into the High School programs next year. It will be fun watching them play and compete over the next 4 years.
