Marietta girls are always strong, believe last year was the last year for both coaches boys and girls. Logan girls should be a good threat.

There just doesn't seem to be much info out there. I thought that at the very least, Baums would have the league meet but it must be top secret... :122249

noreply66,
I'm not sure of what exact events they should be strong in, I just believe from memory they had a few 7th graders who did strong for 7th graders at the league meet and I believe the Logan girls were the closest threat for Marietta last year.

Were they ever at any point high in the standings throughout the meet. I'm for some reason thinking they made a threat at some point in the meet.

Not to mention Logan always seems to get a good number of athletes, which helps out alot especially in Jr. High track and kind of explains why Logan over the course of history has been pretty strong.

Someone on here about a week or two posted how everyone finished last year-can't remember the topic right off.

just found it --it was under track --they were talking about Chillicothe girl track--didn't say where Logan finished just that the top three were Marietta,Chillicothe and Galipolis

I know the Holley girls from Gallia are good. Chapman from Jackson did alright last year but i don't think as a group they were all that good. Conaway from Chilli should be strong. Marietta and Warren have some talent for sure but we dont really see much of them except at league due to the distance. Heard Logan has some talent but can't say i've heard any names or events thrown around.

It should be pretty interesting to see if there are any girl hurdlers from Chili that do good, they had a great example to learn from last year.

Marietta and Warren did lose a great deal of talent though. But they are always strong.

Anyone know anything about the guys side of things this year?

Our schedule just has @ Logan. I hope its at least a quad meet but i honestly don't know. I've been hearing something about a jr high softball team and several of the 8th grade girls that ran last year aren't running this season so our girls team will be dominated by 7th graders. A few of them have potential but i think it'll be a long season as they try to figure out which events to run. I don't know alot about the boys side yet.

Warren's Jr. High schedule has the league meet @ Logan with a time of 6:00pm,but don't know how accurate that is.

I think from what I read on the high school forum and here its at Logan. It makes a lot of sence, great place to run.

sort of a late start--but that might have to do with the travel time for some schools.

No matter I will be there
