What is the Teen OVC?

5/6 grade A team football and 3/4 grade B team football

Ironton Bills, Ironton Eagles, Rock Hill, Sym Valley, Coal Grove , Oak Hill ,

I am biased, but I am going to say the B Team will be the Eagles.

I have to be the second one to say the Eagles B-team should win..but just like every year..it will require that the kids want to win and work hard...if they do..and the come out to every practice working hard...It should be a very green year...

doesnt coal grove have a kid that won some kind of a state track meet and what grade is he in

Does anyone have a schedule for the Teen OVC or know where one is available yet?

Dont know if times Of games are official yet but these are the dates as of the last teen ovc meeting.

AUG 28 Previews --------Coal Grove
Week 1 sep. 4------------------Coal Grove
Week 2 sep. 11------------------Ironton
Week 3 sep. 18------------------Ironton
Week 4 sep.25------------------Symmes Valley
Week 5 oct.2------------------Rock Hill
Week 6 oct.9------------------Oak Hill

Playoffs
1st rd. oct.16-----------------Oakhill
2nd rd. oct.18-19--------------Ironton
Superbowl Oct.23--------------Rock Hill

these should be the dates of where the games will be played(nothing Official) but times should be determined by AUG.15th

schedules will be out after this sunday's meeting. I'll post the official schedule as soon as it is approved by the board. Also, as the season progresses, if everyone would please post scores of the games I will keep the standings posted after each week.

Did the schedules ever get finalized?

not sure it will matter what track meet a kid won on a football field and last time i checked it was coal grove up the middle not around the end

I would have to be the 3rd to say the eagles. Offense looked hard to stop and defense looks real solid. Looked like alot of work has been done with that group.

On both sides of the ball..I believe there are six kids back from last season that started and won the super bowl..On top of that, there are two kids who played a lot off that team that are now starters...They have a lot of experience and are starting to look that way...Once the offense really get's the bugs worked out it should be fun to watch this group...defensively I would be surprised if any team was able to have much success on them this year..so far in four games..all scrimmages...they haven't given up a td and very few plays for gain with the first team in...and in most cases they have had to move their kids around on defense just so the other teams could try to get a snap off so they could work the defense some at other positions...

blackangus, not sure who your asking about but i think the schedule was

bills vs eagles cg vs oak hill rh vs sv all a and b teams not sure about the c teams or if they got to play

A team winners i think A team bills great running backs for the bills,, and a line that is unheard of at 6th grade level,, they will hands down dominate the A team level

B team eagles won BIG,, looked unstoppable both sides of the ball

i think cg b team won and their A team did too

not sure on rock hill and sym valley ? the sun was to much

Thanks, I was asking about the Eagles, the previous post by T90 was a comment on the experience etc of the Eagles.

good point,, to have all of them returning starters (6) and others that got alot of playing time and they won the superbowl last year. All of that with 2nd and 3rd graders last year. is a heck of a feat, now they must all be 4th graders so im sure they will duplicate the superbowl, but that is what good coaching will do.

so does anyone know how the track kid did ?

I seen him take at least two to the house and it wasn't close.

my guess is the track kid wont make it to the porch let alone the house against the eagles D . they are solid in every position
