Re: DRAGONS VS. coal grove
I know cg is bigger than THE DRAGONS but we all know that speed is what kills and we have a lot of it. Heard cg has some injuries that might hurt them, I dont know how true it is. I dont think cg can run against us like they have everybody else. I think we can clog up the middle and make it hard for their fullback. THe kid runs hard but I dont see him getting started on us. And NATHAN is going to be hard to catch. We all saw what south points fast back did to them.

The right angle a fast back will go down the same as any other back. The hornets has a little speed of their own.

Its not the speed that kills, its the sudden stop at the end. Go Big Grove!!!

:aaaaa12 First I hope that all the kids on both sides have a safe game and no one gets injured. I think that our coach just leaving cg a couple of years ago for GREENER pasture is an advantage for us. He does a great job of taking away what the other teams want to do like running straight up the middle. Our speed on turf is not a good thing for the jr. hornets. I just think our kids are faster, more physical, better disciplined, and coached better and that sounds like OVC CHAMPIONS to me. They couldnt even catch us last year in 3 inches of mud.

Re: DRAGONS VS. coal grove
Its a little different team this year though we will see what happens on the battle field. Good luck both teams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: DRAGONS VS. coal grove
I've had the opportunity to watch both these young teams play. My opinion is that the Dragons will not be able to pull out "all the stops" necessary to shut down the jr hornets. It will take more than a couple kids to stop cg's fullback, that leaves other opportunities open. CG's qb is a weapon as well. Ask SP, they found out.
I hope to see a good game with NO injuries to either team.
Good luck to both teams!

Re: DRAGONS VS. coal grove
game is getting closer, anybody want to predict a score? seeing how ready our kids and coaches are for this game I feel like it might not be close. I can see THE DRAGONS scoring easily and could win by 3 or 4 touchdowns. With cgs best back out I dont think they will be able to score against the DRAGONS. This group plays real physical on defense and offense, and NATHAN can and will run over players as well as around them. Our fullback has run over players all year and is also fast. Cant wait for Thursday. Good luck to both teams.

Re: DRAGONS VS. coal grove
If I was everyone I wouldn't count # 32 out of the game either for the hornets he is starting to come on running the ball and on defense.
Re: DRAGONS VS. coal grove
I don't know what to make of this? I watched #32, #40 and some others run all over people this year??? Can some one please explain WHO is out? I know that the Campbell kid from Fairland is really good, I watched him play a couple times this year, but like I said earlier, I've also watched CG and I don't think they match up. jmowith cg best back out?

Re: DRAGONS VS. coal grove
Talk about the backs all you want to but it comes down to the hogs in the trenches.I think I'll take the hogs from the grove over the fairland hogs. The Grove in a tight one!
