I think the $5.oo admit fee was a little much for a biddy ball tournament - especially round robin play because you have to keep going back. I understand you can watch more than one game and tournaments are basically fundraisers, but geez, that's what you pay to get in a high school game.

I understand your concern about the admission fee, however we are providing a top notch venue with quality varsity licensed officials. As you stated you have the option of taking in 3 or even 4 games on some evenings... Newberry's has done a wonderful job of sponsoring. They have set up a hospitality area in the old gym lobby to greet the fans... Not every biddy tournament can provide these amenities.

What was at the hospitality table? When I saw it, there was some flyers on it but nothing else. I must have missed the goodies

Anita from Newberry's should have the hospitality area on display every evening. There were many basketball related items on the tables when I stopped and spoke with her, including tournament t-shirts..

The admission fees for these biddy tournaments are getting a little crazy!!!! There is no reason to have to pay this much to get in, varsity officials or not. Don't the teams pay an entry fee to get in the tournament? $5 for a 45 to 50 minute game is way too steep.

All tournaments that I've attended lately have been $3 per adult and $1 per student.

Moses Guthrie,

I'll stop by the hospitality table this evening and get the kids some t-shirts!!

The price for adults to get in is more than I thought it would be, but Portsmouth is doing this to raise money. We had a parent upset because he brought his wife, both sets of grandparents and would have to pay $30 to see the game. They had no interest in staying for the others. Lucky for him, his dad brought more money!!

Overall, I thought last night was pretty good at the Old School. How did the 4th grade games finish up?

Tobias your calculations are correct.

Does anyone have the scores of the games? I saw Tobias has the point differential, but was wondering final scores of each game.

Some good basketball games played last night. Even a couple of teams that lost yesterday could have easily won if a couple possessions went their way.

Does anyone know if there was a professional person taking pictures and is posting them on the web? Was wanting to look at them and maybe order some if they are available somewhere.
