How many quarters can a Jr. High player play in one night ? South Webster had a girl play 7th & 8th, I think it was the coaches daughter.

a player can play 5 quarters in a night. The penalty for playing more than five is the player being removed and a technical foul being called.

Your scorekeeper has to catch the violation, officials don't keep up with subs. If a player is in more than allowed then that players coaches or scorekeeper won't turn them in, for reasons explained by turncoat-ump. :122245 :122245 :122245

Sorry no crying here. I know her and she is a good player. Just a parent wondering that must not have known the rules. I also know they have not beat the west girls in years, so no need for that.

Also, they will take into consideration later is a player can only play in one tournament. So this player and coach would need to pick either 7th or 8th grade to play in. Quarters does not matter in tournament. One and only one!
