CONGRATULATIONS PJHS 7TH & 8TH GRADE BOYS HOOPS!

:aaaaa26 The Portsmouth Jr. High 7th Grade team went UNDEFEATED this year. I am so proud of them they ended their season 17-0 last night with a win against Chillicothe in the CHAMPIONSHIP game of the Eastern tournament. It was a great game!
The Portsmouth Jr. High 8th Grade team ended their season 13-4 last night with win against Chillicothe in the CHAMPIONSHIP game of the Eastern tournament. It was a great game also!
Both games were played with tons of intensity and good sportsmanship. This will be a rivalry to follow for years to come. I wanna give a shout out to the Chilli 8th grade coach, because as he was talking to his team after they lost. He told them that "We win with class and We lose with class, so walk of the court with your heads up."
This was the first time that many of these young men were able to get a taste of cutting down the nets. That was just the beginning, I'm looking forward to being a part of this type of celebration for many years to come!!! Congratulations once again Boys!!!
