Who looks to have a strong team?

I have a 8th grade team made up of primarily 7th graders in the South Central Middle School League. Teams from Eastern, Peebles, Whiteoak, Fairfield, Greenfield, Chillicothe, Westfall, Miami Trace, Wilmington, Hillsboro.

Should be a pretty good league this year. Always competitive. Hillsboro will be the team to beat this year. They have a core group of kids that all play together on a travel team.

Season finally here.

Lady Titans take two from Northwest.

ND 2-0

This week Minford 8th grade team beats South Webster 7-3 while their 7th grade team beat Oak Hill, not sure of that score.

ND takes a close one from Minford.

ND 3-0

The Minford/Notre Dame game was sure a good one. Both teams did well for this early in the season to make it a nail biter. Minford 8th takes two yesterday, 15-1 over Northwest 8th grade and 7-2 (maybe) over Oak Hill 7th grade. Good job ladies, the bats were swinging hard yesterday with several girls getting hits to the grass.

ND took one on the chin from Green Up 5-3.
Beat South Webster 16-4.

Lady Titans move to 4-1

Rock Hill beat Oak Hill , took a double -header from Lawrence co, Ky.
Beat Clay and lost to Wheelersburg (4-0)--
Beat Greenup Co. last night 14-4 in 5 innings.
Love the great weather, hope we can get all the games in.
Rock Hill is 5-1.

Minford 8th grade beat Western Pike Monday and lost to West Wednesday. They are now 4-2.

ND takes two from Fairland and Valley.

Rock Hill beat Ironton, Symmes Valley and West this week. 8-1

Minford 8th struggling this past week with losses to Symmes Valley, Clay on Saturday and Greenup last night. They play Portsmouth tonight and hopefully can turn things around.

Minford 8th over Portsmouth last night, improved pitching and hot bats were good to see.

Rock Hill over Oak Hill, Minford and Fairland. 11-1

Piketon 7th grade is 4-1 for the season beating a very strong Waverly team.

ND 6 West 5 in extra innings.

ND moves onto 12 - 4.

Rock Hill beat Ironton, Wellston and Minford. Lost to Burg (2-1) and Wellston (3-2).
record of 15-3.

Piketon 7th grade is 4-1. Beating a strong Waverly team. This young Piketon team is very good when the entire team is present. Multiple girls doing track and club volleyball.

Rock Hill wins the Middle School Tournament. Wins over Portsmouth, Minford, Green-up co. and 2-1 winners against Wheelersburg. Season record 21-3. Great job ladies!!
