Northwest plays at Minford. Each team only has one loss and they both lost to West. West only beat Minford by a touchdown West beat NW by several touchdowns. Minford beat waverly in overtime. NW beat waverly by several touchdowns. Could be a good game if NW shows up to play or Minford could blow them out if they don't. Any opinions to share?

Minford is the best team West has played this year. Minford is not as big as Northwest but they will smack you in the mouth on every down. I think minford by 2 scores

Out of curiosity, I was wondering how many kids have scored touchdowns for each of our local Jr High teams. With the season coming to a close soon, I was just wondering because Jr High is a tremendous grooming time for the future of each program. Off the top of my head I know of 8 kids that have scored at least one touchdown or more for Minford's 8th Grade team. Personally, I think that shows a lot of depth and it shows that a lot of kids have had the opportunity to touch the football which should help those kids from a confidence standpoint moving forward. Anyone else know of a total for any of the other schools in the area?

If memory serves me correctly, Minford put it on Northwest pretty good last year when these two groups were in 7th Grade. Personally, I think Minford has improved by leaps and bounds from a year ago. They currently stand at 6-1 with the lone loss coming in that excellent 14-6 game against West. It's great to see Northwest having such a competitive group of kids coming through that system. It should pay off for them over the next four years at the high school level. I'm assuming the Mohawks have also improved quite a bit from last year?

West has had at least 7 on the 8th grade team and at least 7 on the 7th grade. These are just off the top of my head with out going back and checking it maybe more.

As noles_fan stated Minford is by far the best team West has played this year. Minford in this one by 3 scores.
