Ny will have a solid 8th grade team. Were undefeated last year and pretty much since they have been playing together. Meigs has a nice group of 8th graders. Logan has some talent there.

Ironton should be tough in the eighth grade as long as the 7th grade and 8th combine. The line look to be the question mark, whether the kids come out or not. The backfield could be stacked as they will have numerous 7th graders vying for starting positions at all the offensive positions. As far as defense goes, this team should be nearly as solid as it gets. Great defensive ends and linebackers along with good corners. Again the only major question would be at line. They will be as good as who comes out. Safety could be a question too. Should be a fun year to watch.

PHS 8th has a big class coming back, not sure how well they did last year. Our 7th grade has 5-6 very good players but no depth/numbers.

Last years team appeared to be mostly 8th graders from what I could tell. Really big line that I would say will all be Freshmen this year Going to be a big question mark. West give them all they could handle last year with mostly 7th graders at key postions. hope they are on the schedule this year.

I think they won the games they shouldve won and had trouble with the same teams they had triuble with at the pee-wee level. At least that was the way I heard it from someone who's boy was on that team.

That would be something to see. I would just like to see more high school coaches showing interest in the younger levels. It is after all there future teams
