Lucasville Valley Boys Biddy Basketball February 2020 All-Star Tournaments

Lucasville Valley Boys Biddy Basketball program will be hosting all-star tournaments during the following weeks:
1st-2nd Grade Boys: Week of February 3rd-8th at Valley Elementary school gym.
3rd-4th Grade Boys: Week of February 17th-22nd at Valley Elementary school gym.
5th-6th Grade Boys: Week of February 17th-22nd at Valley Middle school gym.
Team Entry Fees are $125 each and all “B” teams will be free. Admission will be $3.00 for adults and students are $2. All younger children (not school age/school attending) and veterans will be free. Concessions will be available. There will be individual grade brackets for each grade listed above.

Valley Boys Biddy Basketball Tournament Rules
1st & 2nd Grade
1. Games will consist of four six minute quarters. The rim will be lowered to 8’6”. All games will have licensed officials. A running clock will be utilized in the second half of each game if a team is down by 20 points or more.
2. Each game will have a five minute warm-up starting at the end of the previous game and a three minute halftime. Three minute overtimes. All forfeiture games will be a 15-0 score.
3. Half court man-to-man defense or zone defense is allowed to be played. No full-court pressing will be allowed. All rules not specifically covered here will be referred to OHSAA 7th-12th grade guidelines.
4. Foul shots may be shot on shooting fouls and shot at a distance less than 15 feet, marked by tape. All other fouls will have the ball taken out of bounds closest to the infraction. All players will be moved down the free throw line.
5. Five second lane violations will be called.
6. Violations of OHSAA good sportsmanship/tournament rules/school guidelines will not be tolerated at any time and may result in a player, adults, or visitors being removed from the tournament at the discretion of tournament directors. No refunds will be honored.
7. Each team will have three timeouts per game.
8. All players must be from the same school. A player is only permitted to play on one team during our tournament. No AAU, OYB teams or etc... allowed.
9. Each team will play a minimum of three games. Two pool play games and a single elimination tournament. Seeding will be determined by 1. Win/loss record. 2. Head to head 3.Point differential 4.Points allowed 5.Points scored 6. Coin flip in case of a tie.
