Help for a Gridiron Feature Story

I have a feature story idea for Gridiron Glory in August, and I need your help. I was thinking today about how much sports has taught me about life. Basketball taught me how to never give up, stay focused, and push myself to the limit. Does anyone have a player in mind that would fit this fold? Ideally, I thought a cool angle would be a player that had sports help him shape up, maybe he used to get into a lot of muschief or something...just an idea.
Does anyone have any ideas or input for me? Or ideas for a completely different story that you feel should be on Gridiron? Thanks ahead of time for your input!
