man beaten in minford

i read on another website that today in minford a man was beaten severely....i guess a couple people knocked on his door and when he answered it they beat him. there was no reason posted about why they beat him, or if they robbed him or what happened. kinda scary, i live in minford. but i have a big rotweiler and guns, so i dare someone to come to my door lol.....anyone else hear anything about this? it was posted around 6:30pm
