It opens later this week. I heard the old cars who show at McDonald every month get to drive it first

wonder how long it will save from lucasville to the burg.

Yes, cruising Thursday at noon from the Minford airport.

Should save about 15 minutes. 70 MPH road.

it will be open to the public Friday morning. Thursday is just the ribbon cutting/celebration and classic car cruise.

I remember the Portsmouth bypass idea being kicked around back in the late 1950's just after the Atomic plant boom.

Going from the Tri State to Waverly we always used the Rosemount Hill Road from US 52 to US 23.

Will the new road be open from Wheelersburg to Minford only or will it be open all the way to Lucasville?

Channel 13 is reporting the grand opening will be today for the bypass.....................

Channel 3 is reporting the ribbon cutting ceremony is today but the highway itself will not be open till tomorrow...................

It will be open all the way Friday late morning.

Wondering if they aren't opening now to meet their deadline and then will shut it down again to finish some things up. I've known that to happen in the past on deadline jobs. But they seem to be done and packing up so I hope not.

Not saying ive been out on it...

but it looks really nice.

It opens sometime Friday, today there will be Veterans and classic cars drive it in a Ribbon cutting parade ... It would have to save you 10 to 15 mins not having to drive thru town but one of the best things is the truckers who get sent over Rosemount by GPS will not be getting stuck no more I would hope.
